Charleston native Elani “Lani” White brings to SC Elite a strong blend of collegiate playing experience, high school coaching success, and dedication to athlete development.

Elani played four seasons at Division II Erskine College, where she was a consistent starter as the Jaguars’ outside hitter. As a junior in 2022, she appeared in all 29 matches, including 15 starts. She graduated with a B.S. in Physical Education and Coaching, showcasing her passion for teaching and sports leadership.


Before college, Elani played at James Island Charter High School, earning Tournament MVP, All-Region selections, and the program’s Leadership Award—recognition of both her skill and character. She transitioned into coaching in 2022, serving as the JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant at Goose Creek High School, while also running volleyball clinics and club programs for three years. For the Fall 2025 season, Lani will be an assistant coach for the Varsity Boys Volleyball team at Lucy Beckham High School.



Respected for her communication, technical skills, and leadership, Elani is committed to guiding athletes through critical development years. She’s passionate about building confidence, teaching proper technique, and fostering a positive team culture—qualities she brings daily to the SC Elite gym.
