Lizzie Simmons brings her Midwestern grit and compassionate coaching style to SC Elite’s U16 National team. A native of Indiana, she played club volleyball at Purdue University for four years, competing at a high level throughout the Midwest before moving to Charleston after graduation.

Lizzie supports students in her career as a Special Education Teacher in the Autism Program at Fort Dorchester High School, combining her educational background with her passion for coaching and mentoring young athletes.
Her volleyball journey began in middle school and continued through Dowling Catholic HR high school (moved to varsity mid-season as a freshman), and culminated with five years of club play and now four seasons of coaching experience at SC Elite. She is dedicated to helping players discover their love for the sport, build fundamental skills, and grow in confidence.
Lizzie thrives in individual development and team atmosphere, making her a valued asset to the SC Elite staff.
