Charleston native Megan Minkin brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to SC Elite. A former defensive specialist at Limestone University, she has coached at several high schools across South Carolina—including state-champions Dorman HS—and has club experience with Grand Strand Juniors and Club South (now Stars). Megan enjoys coaching middle school volleyball and continues to play recreationally. Her passion, experience, and commitment make her a valuable part of our coaching staff.

Megan Minkin is a Charleston native with a strong background as both a player and coach. She played collegiate volleyball as a defensive specialist at Limestone University and went on to build an impressive coaching résumé across the state of South Carolina.
Megan was part of the coaching staff at Dorman High School in Spartanburg, where the team captured a state championship and made several Upper State finals appearances. She has also coached at Boiling Springs High School, Waccamaw High School, and most recently served as an assistant at Philip Simmons High School for two seasons before stepping away to focus on her growing family.
Her club coaching experience includes time with Grand Strand Juniors and Club South (prior to its transition to Upward Stars). Today, Megan continues to share her love for the game by coaching a middle school team, and she still enjoys playing both indoor and beach volleyball recreationally.
Megan’s experience, energy, and lifelong connection to the sport make her a valued member of the SC Elite coaching staff.
