Originally from Utah, Tyler Haws brings years of experience as both a setter and coach to SC Elite. He played for top-level club teams, trained with Utah Valley University, and began coaching at the junior high and collegiate levels, including time at Brigham Young University.
Now based in South Carolina, Tyler has coached at Lucy Beckham High School for the past two seasons, focusing on setter development. Known for his technical detail and leadership mindset, he is passionate about helping young athletes grow into confident, intelligent setters who lead their teams.

Tyler Haws brings a lifelong passion for volleyball and a wealth of experience as both a player and coach to SC Elite. Originally from Utah, Tyler competed as a setter on multiple high-level club teams, excelled at the high school level, played in national tournaments, and trained with the Utah Valley University (UVU) volleyball program.
His coaching career began with junior high athletes and quickly expanded to working with college students at Brigham Young University, where he honed his ability to teach the game with precision and purpose. Since relocating to South Carolina, Tyler has continued to impact the volleyball community, serving as the Head JV Coach at Lucy Beckham High School for two seasons and currently supporting the varsity program as an assistant coach specializing in setter development.
Known for his attention to detail, thoughtful leadership, and love for the game, Tyler is passionate about mentoring young setters. At SC Elite, he is dedicated to helping athletes become confident, intelligent playmakers who elevate everyone around them.
